7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Matthew 7:7-8 NIV

Asking acknowledges our need and dependence on God's help—it's a moment when we present our requests with faith and trust in Him. Prayer is not about pleading; it's about trusting the One who has already filled the storehouse.

Seeking goes beyond asking; it's not a single act, but a process that involves a series of actions. Something is lost and hidden from us, and our prayer becomes a search for insight and understanding.

Then comes the knock. This represents persistence—praying even when the door is still closed. It's knowing that God is on the other side and that He will open the door for us, in His own time and for His purpose.

Discovering the hidden treasures of God requires us to actively search for them. Just as people keep their treasures behind locked doors, God has His own vaults, hidden chambers, safes, and "secret places.

" The good news is this: God is not trying to hide treasures from us; He is hiding them for us!

God’s wisdom, knowledge, understanding, provision, and guidance are amazing treasures that aren’t just lying around for anyone to grab. These gifts are for those who love God, who are willing to seek Him, lean on Him, and desire to get closer to Him. So, let's "hunt" for God’s treasures today! Let’s ask, seek, and knock, and see how He opens up His vaults for us!
